Forest Grove Boys Lacrosse

A club sport.

Boys Lacrosse came to Forest Grove in 2009.  Anne Burnard had a vision for boys lacrosse in our community.  Her son and Pam Calderon-Duyck's son had been playing for the Hillsboro (HALO) youth teams and had no option for high school lacrosse.  Slowly the vision took shape with help from Heather Ross, who had formed FG Girls Lacrosse years prior.  From humble beginnings as a scrimmage team, then a JV, and finally a varsity level program, FG Lacrosse made it's goal in 2015 of qualifying for post season play.  For the first time in its history, FG Lacrosse played in the 2015 Cascade Cup.

Lacrosse is governed at this time by the Oregon High School Lacrosse Association (OHSLA.net).  It is not yet a sanctioned OSAA sport.  We are a club sport, funded purely by player fees, donations, and fundraising.  We represent and affiliate with Forest Grove High School, but we are not financially supported by the school.  Lacrosse continues to be the fastest growing sport in Oregon.  Someday, we believe we will see the sport be sanctioned by OSAA.  Come grow the sport with us!
